About Designing the Life We Want:

You’ve never been where you are today. Are you moving in the right direction? Do you show up as you desire? Have you created the impact you want? Rarely do we pause to examine what’s changing in our lives and what we need to feel fulfilled. Drawing on psychological principles, right-brain practices, and ancient wisdom traditions, this course offers a unique environment for self-renewal—a rare opportunity for meaningful learning, interaction, and exploration among peers. We’ll build a courageous community that is both challenging and nurturing, encouraging you to listen to your inner voice and clarify what truly matters.

Through a range of experiential activities, students will explore what brings them joy and purpose and develop a vision to guide both the coming year and the next phase of life. As we move through a series of individual and group exercises focused on communication, reflection, and exchanges with the instructor, we’ll learn to navigate major life transitions, strengthen our intuition, and uncover behaviors that either support or unconsciously hinder our success. This course will be especially valuable for those seeking a more powerful and authentic impact in the world.

Students should come ready to move, share openly, actively participate, and learn collectively.

Itinerary:

(subject to change)

Week 1:
Stay at the Edge of Our Courage
Be in community. Shift our perspective from individual to group. Break taboo. Risk sharing what we might not have shared before. Show up with vulnerability. Feel new ways of being emerging. Create new patterns for ourselves and for our culture.

Week 2:
Dare to Know Our Heart’s Desire
We all know deep down what we are called to do. We can learn how to listen to, and be guided by, that voice. We practice trusting our inner compass, our intuition, our inner knowing.

Week 3:
Transform Our Limiting Voices
Respond to self-doubt and criticism and welcome a new way of being, a new vision. Transform what prevents us from leading the life we want – be it grief, resentment, anxiety, shame, upper limits, attachments.

Express Our Desire (to others)
In the old paradigm, learning is 1-1 or one to many. Here, we learn from each other by daring to show all parts of ourselves: what we are not proud of, and all that we deserve to be proud of.
Week 4:
Dance Our Future into Being
Literally. Let’s dance. Let’s be in our bodies. Let’s play. Let’s be outside. Let’s be in the ecstasy of life. When we are ecstatic, we see ourselves as part of something greater.

Week 5:
Find Next Steps and New Supports
We need the right people to help us make our dreams come true. More connection. More of what brings us joy. Stop doing what we do not love. Risk asking for the support we need. Create a plan we believe in.
